Great Faculty! Great Fun! Tour to Los Angeles to perform at Disney Hall!


June 12-28, 2015

Our two-week summer intensive is geared toward serious young players of all ages who want to commit themselves to a rigorous but really fun daily workout involving orchestra rehearsals, lessons, master classes, individual practice, and plenty of performance opportunities. The program will be varied, with offerings adjusted to accommodate differences in age and level. Classes/rehearsals/lessons/practice will fill the day, 9am to 6pm (with some great evening opportunities as well), on the Fresno State campus.

FOOSA Philharmonic

Musicians accepted into this orchestra will enjoy daily private lessons with our renowned faculty, daily sectionals and rehearsals, opportunities to perform in master classes and student recitals, the option of participating in our concerto competition (winner solos with the FOOSA Philharmonic), and of course the tour to Los Angeles to perform at Walt Disney Concert Hall.

FOOSA Symphony

Musicians accepted into this program participate as members of the FOOSA Symphony and enjoy daily group lessons with our outstanding faculty, as well as sectionals and orchestra rehearsals. They will perform in student recitals and in the final concerts at Fresno State. Students in this program attend classes from 9am-1pm every day. There is no residential component of this program. Half-day students may also opt to participate in master classes and workshops.
