Chamber Orchestra (YCO)

This orchestra gives young musicians their first opportunities to play together in a large group. The emphasis is on fun and cultivating a love of music. Participants are expected to have at least one year of instruction before joining this group. They should be able to read music comfortably. 

Rehearsals are every Sunday afternoon from 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm during the concert season. Rehearsal Venue: CSU Fresno New Music Building, Room 127.

We expect participants to be enrolled in their school music programs if at all possible.

Concert attire for Chamber Orchestra members:

Ladies: Full-length black skirt or black trousers, black stockings/socks, black shoes, white top with long or three-quarter-length sleeves.
Gentlemen: Black dress slacks, black socks, black shoes, white long-sleeved dress shirt with a black bow tie.

Shorthand version: black with white tops, bow ties for gentlemen!
