It was amazing. We hope you were there! The Youth Philharmonic Orchestra performed works by Mexican composers Carlos Chavez (Sinfonia India), Arturo Marquez (Danzon No. 2), and Juan Pablo Moncayo (Huapango), along with Aaron Copland’s El Salon Mexico and, with guest soloist Andreas Werz, George Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue. Music Director Thomas Loewenheim conducted.

This concert was a collaboration between the Youth Orchestras of Fresno and the Consulate of Mexico, Fresno.
